Nu Skin Enterprises finishes 25th anniversary year on a high note with good growth

Utah-based personal care company Nu Skin Enterprises has announced positive fourth quarter results, up an impressive 19% to $378.1m, which was a marked increase on the same quarter in the previous year.


Utah-based personal care company Nu Skin Enterprises has announced positive fourth quarter results, up an impressive 19% to $378.1m, which was a marked increase on the same quarter in the previous year.

The company, which celebrated its silver anniversary in 2009, also made a huge 104% increase on its earnings per share figure at $0.47 which equated to 31% when excluding non-operating items. It also generated a record annual revenue of $1.33bn in 2009, a 7% rise on 2008.

Speaking as the results were announced, president and ceo of Nu Skin Enterprises, Truman Hunt, said: “We finished our 25th anniversary year on a high with record revenue, a record launch of our new skin care system and a record number of executive distributors. Each region is contributing to our growth with particularly strong double-digit gains in South Korea, the Americas, China and Europe.”
