The Alban Muller group introduced Phytamis and is now launching a new range of 100% natural, preservative-free plant extracts -Organic Plant Phytamis. The range is based on a palette of nine guaranteed organic plants: yarrow, hawthorn, great burdock, blackcurrant, eucalyptus, ash tree, lavender, horse chestnut and sweet clover. It makes the most of the latest innovations in phytocosmetics and is manufactured using eco-friendly processes in an ISO 14001 certified factory. The range features a preservative-free natural glycerin base, ensuring microbiological stability. Following macerating in water or in a water-alcohol blend, the extract is concentrated to eliminate the alcoholic and aqueous solvents. The latter are replaced by plant-origin glycerin, which doesn’t require preservatives. The technique of drying by zeodration is used to ensure maximum concentration in active principals. This new eco-friendly dehydration technology is carried out under vacuum and at a low temperature. It protects the structure of the active principals while saving energy.
