Organic sponsor
Bentley Organic is sponsoring 30-year-old teacher Josh Whitehead in the 2006 Jungle Marathon, raising funds for multiple sclerosis organisation Flicker.MS.
Bentley Organic is a new subsidiary of Thos. Bentley & Son Ltd, a company established in the 1800s to make soap for the textile industry and still run by the same family company on the same Leeds site in the UK. Perhaps more familiar are the company’s two trading companies: Stephenson Group Ltd, producer of speciality soap bases and materials for personal care products, and Bradford Personal Care Ltd.
Bentley Organic is said to have combined the skills of the company to develop and produce in-house a new range of personal care products that have received Soil Association Certification. “This range of products is the first completely organic range to be launched in the UK and is based on years of technical expertise and manufacturing skill,” says the company.
The company says its sponsorship of Josh in the Jungle 2006 is part of its commitment to supporting local charity and interesting projects with vision that benefit the wider community.
