Origins has launched a new mineral foundation that promises to deliver the benefits of a mineral powder foundation with added skin care ingredients.
Multi-Grain Makeup SPF14 is fortified with oats, grains, vitamins and minerals including organic oats, organic tapioca, soy, rice flour, wheat germ and barley, along with antioxidant pomegranate and goji berry, and vitamins C and E.
Titanium dioxide provides broad-spectrum sun protection, while shea butter gives the powder a creamy texture. The result says Origins is long lasting coverage and an improvement in skin’s radiance. The foundation is available in five shades created using natural mineral clay pigments and is suitable for all skin types.
The brand has also developed GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream, claimed to help reduce the appearance of dark circles and re-energise the skin. Key to the formulation is panax ginseng, which helps to reduce the visible signs of fatigue, along with hesperidin and coleus barbatus, which work to combat puffiness around the eye area. In addition caffeine from coffee beans provides anti-irritant properties, while cucumber extract calms and magnolia extract helps reduce the appearance of dark circles. Finally optical brighteners including silica and mica help illuminate skin.
