Luxury perfumery Ormonde Jayne has announced plans to expand its business to the Middle East, with the opening of two new stores in Dubai.

The new boutiques, which are due to open in March 2008 are the first of their kind outside Ormonde Jayne’s flagship store in Old Bond Street, London, and will be housed at Boutique 1 in the Emirates Towers and the newly-constructed Jumeriah Beach hotel complex.

The retail space will feature the same striking design as the flagship store, including bronze smoked mirrors, black laquered testing tables and mandarin leather stools, designed by again by Caulder Moore. The design of the London store was recently awarded highly commended in the best retail space category at the Benchmark Awards.

The new stores are part of a push by Ormonde Jayne onto the international stage. Earlier this year the brand opened a mail order service in the US.
