US post-procedural foundation brand Oxygenetix has launched in the UK. Targeting doctors clinics, spas and aesthetic markets, the UK launch is said to be an integral step in the company's global expansion. Many skin procedures can leave skin red and compromised, and Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation has been developed to conceal the after-effects of such treatments while simultaneously promoting the healing process and replenishing water loss.
The prime ingredient is Ceravitae, an oxygen complex that promotes the production of collagen cells and connective tissue growth in ageing and/or wounded skin. It also contains aloe and tocopherols, which have been used as wound-healing remedies for centuries.
According to Oxygenetix, Oxygenating Foundation can be used on skin following procedures including laser hair removal, laser and chemical peels, rhinoplasty, acne and rosacea treatments, burns, facial surgeries and more.
The brand will be distributed in the UK by Medical Aesthetic Supplies and is aiming for full availability in the region by the end of summer 2014.
