P&G\'s Perez-Ayala joins Avon

Patricia Perez-Ayala has joined Avon Products as senior vice president, chief marketing officer and global brand & category president, effective 3 December.


Patricia Perez-Ayala has joined Avon Products as senior vice president, chief marketing officer and global brand & category president, effective 3 December. She will also join the company's executive committee, and report directly to Sheri McCoy, Avon's ceo.

In her new role, Perez-Ayala will be responsible for the global management of Avon's brand and marketing, including consumer insights, commercial marketing, digital marketing, and product category strategy and execution.   She will also oversee research & development, new product development and packaging, in addition to the Liz Earle business.

"As we continue to drive Avon's turnaround, a strengthened, streamlined global marketing organisation is critical for the company's success.  Patricia's proven record of implementing change and driving results makes her the right person to lead Avon's worldwide marketing efforts," said McCoy.

Most recently, Perez-Ayala served as vp and gm, Eastern Europe at Procter & Gamble.
