MBF Plastiques is the company behind the innovative gold ingot packaging for Paco Rabanne’s latest men’s fragrance, 1 Million. Created by designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, the packaging features a gold anodized aluminium front plate with a polyoxide methylene interior and an ABS spray cap.
Technical issues that had to be overcome included the noise made by the impact of the bottle against the side of the wall and constraints surrounding the bottle’s height. “We set up height-compensating systems that make it possible to assemble the plate on the glass bottle in all cases,” comments MBF’s sales manager Marc Beltrami.
