Plastic injection expert MBF Plastiques has supplied packaging for the high-end My Blend personal care line developed by Dr Olivier Courtin, son of the founder of Clarins - Jacques Courtin.
The jars and bottles comprise two parts. The primary packaging is a transparent receptacle made of methyl polymethacrylate, a large surlyn cover with a silk screen print and decorative part made of chromium zamak. The secondary packaging consists of a polypropylene tub that is white on the inside.
The high number of product references involved meant a total of 17 seperate moulds were developed for the production process.
