PHAs: everything you need to know about these gentle exfoliators

Gaining momentum within the skin care industry, polyhydroxy acids, also known as PHAs, are a type of chemical exfoliant that are used in professional grade and over-the-counter skin care products.

PHAs are much gentler than their AHA and BHA cousins, and larger in molecular size.
