Kemira has unveiled its latest pigmentary titanium dioxide (TiO2) product, Kemira AC360. AC360 is an alumina-silane treated pigmentary dioxide.

White, opaque and extremely pure, it is said to offer improved colour characteristics for a greater range of use.

Developed for colour cosmetic formulations with high hydrophobicity, “Kemira AC360 imparts opacity, whiteness and depth of colour for the creation of elegant, high-end formulations,” according to Heli Aro, application manager, cosmetic segment, Kemira Specialty. “AC360 is non-irritating, offering richer colour to formulations and enhanced colour stability.”

Furthermore, Kemira says that due to its ease of dispersibility in oils, AC360 will impart long-lasting colour to products, such as lipstick, powder and foundation.
