Polymer supplier PolyOne has announced the creation of a new Japanse business, based in Tokyo.


Polymer supplier PolyOne has announced the creation of a new Japanse business, based in Tokyo.

PolyOne Japan will focus on gaining specification with Japanese original equipment manufacturers and the importation of products for use by Japanese polymer processors, according to the company. Mr. Masato Sakuma will assume the position of business development manager for Japan.

“Our expanded presence in Japan represents another milestone in building our capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Willie Chien, vp and general manager, PolyOne Asia. “We see significant opportunities to leverage our diversified portfolio of products, services and solutions to deliver differentiated value to our customers in Japan.”
