Proof that Protect & Perfect fights wrinkles
Scientists from the University of Manchester say they have clinical proof that a high street anti-ageing cream reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
Scientists from the University of Manchester say they have clinical proof that a high street anti-ageing cream reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
Professor Chris Griffiths and his team say that Boots’ No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum has been found to clinically improve users wrinkles by 43% after six months’ use. The new Intense variant is said to be a richer version of the original Protect & Perfect Serum, which gained a cult following after the product appeared on the BBC’s Horizon programme in 2007. The same team found that the original serum helped combat sun damage and this led to five months’ worth of stock selling out in one day.
Boots says it is anticipating a similar demand for the Intense serum.
