Netzsch’s NEMO aseptic and progressive cavity pump range now includes machines specially developed for CIP and SIP applications.
The pumps incorporate a number of design features that tailor them for industries where hygiene is vital.
To ensure maximum pre-sterilisation cleaning the inlet and outlet branches of the SA/BA aseptic range join the body tangentially to create a swirling flow. The number of static sealing points has been reduced and crevice-free O-ring seals fitted, eliminating deposits, while the mechanical shaft seal and static housing seals act as sterile interfaces.
The SA/BA range conveys products at capacities of up to 140,000 l/hr and pressures of up to 36 bar.
Ceramic rotors, CIP ports and reduced wall thickness stators are among the available options and components can be interchanged to meet customer specification.
