REACH deadline prompts ReFaC demand

The REACH Facilitation Company (ReFaC) has reported seeing an increasing uptake in the demand for its services, as the first deadlines for REACH loom.


The REACH Facilitation Company (ReFaC) has reported seeing an increasing uptake in the demand for its services, as the first deadlines for REACH loom.

Pre-registration deadlines for companies within Europe and beyond have to be met by 1 December 2008 but there is still uncertainty amongst the international chemical community over who is obliged to register, according to ReFaC.

The body has reported a 50% month on month increase in companies appointing it as an only representative or third party representative for REACH Registration Services. It says it has particularly strong interest from Asia.
