New research has revealed that women could be wasting up to £340 on unused beauty products.

New research by UK hair and beauty retailer Xtras.co.uk has revealed that the average British woman has a beauty collection worth £450 but only uses around a quarter of her collection - or £110 worth.

Xtras.com polled 1,872 women aged 18 and over as part of ongoing research into the hair and beauty habits and preferences of British women; as the site aims to keep on top of the latest beauty behaviours. On average, the respondents named perfume and foundation as the most expensive items in their beauty kit.
