SEC-MALS’ precision confirmed

Wyatt Technology has published a free application note on its SEC-MALS instruments, demonstrating the use of SEC-MALS to determine molecular weight (MW) and sodium hyaluronate (HA, 1.6-2.9 MDa) in a mobile phase solution mixed with gelatine.

Wyatt Technology has published a free application note on its SEC-MALS instruments, demonstrating the use of SEC-MALS to determine molecular weight (MW) and sodium hyaluronate (HA, 1.6-2.9 MDa) in a mobile phase solution mixed with gelatine.

The application results showed that it was possible to detect HA with MWs of 1.6, 2.4, 2.6 and 2.9 MDa using the Wyatt machines. A very high mass recovery of 99.7% was achieved, establishing the ability of SEC-MALS to deliver precise analyses.
