Sephora UK has opened its Glasgow, Scotland, store at the Silverburn shopping centre as it continues to increase its physical footprint in the UK.
The 4,940sqft store marks the LVMH-owned retailer’s 17th UK location, with the space stocking exclusive beauty brands such as Tower 28, Topicals, Fazit, Merit and Makeup by Mario.
The opening also marks the fourth and final store launch of ‘Sephora Summer’ 2026, which the retailer described as a season of new openings across the UK.
Tickets are now available for the 25th anniversary of the Pure Beauty Awards, taking place on 15 October 2026 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, UK. Join the beauty industry for an evening of recognition and celebration as this year’s winners are revealed. Click here to secure your place.
The new Glasgow store follows Sephora opening its debut Scottish store in Edinburgh’s St James Quarter in July 2026.
Sarah Boyd, Managing Director of Sephora UK, said: “The opening of our Glasgow Silverburn store is a proud milestone for Sephora UK.
“Following the incredible response to our Edinburgh opening, we knew beauty lovers in the west of Scotland were ready for Sephora too, and we are so excited to finally open our doors.
“Every new store is about more than just opening a new place to shop.
“We want to create a beauty destination where people can discover something new, experiment, learn and be inspired.”
The Glasgow store is also placing a spotlight on homegrown Scottish beauty brands, including Jamie Genevieve’s make-up brand Vieve and skin care brand Byoma, founded by Marc Elrick.
Visitors to the store can also experience Sephora UK’s new Beauty Scan technology, which uses an advanced lens operated by a Beauty Advisor to assess skin factors.
This includes skin oil and hydration levels to support more precise foundation shade-matching, which allows Sephora UK’s Beauty Advisors to tailor recommendations to each customer.
Diarmuid Donohoe, GM of Silverburn, added: “Sephora UK’s arrival in Scotland is one of the biggest retail stories of the summer.
“Their decision to open their first Glasgow store at Silverburn reflects our position as a leading retail destination and our appeal to the most sought-after international brands.
“Glaswegians have been waiting for this day all summer.
“I have no doubt today’s opening celebrations will give Sephora the warmest of Glasgow welcomes.”
Sephora UK recently opened its debut new boutique store concept on Carnaby Street in London.
The smaller-format store opened on 23 July and was developed as a direct result of customer feedback.
