Sephora Global COO Alexis Rollier is stepping down after 14 years with the LVMH-owned beauty retailer.
Rollier, who joined Sephora in 2014 as CFO and COO Americas, announced his departure in a LinkedIn post on 14 July, stating it was time to “open a new chapter”.
He had also served as Sephora CFO Europe & Middle East between 2017 and 2018, before assuming the role of Global COO.

Before this, Rollier worked as Global CFO of Guerlain, the French perfume and cosmetics house owned by LVMH, between 2006 and 2012.
“Looking back, I feel incredibly grateful to have been part of Sephora’s exceptional growth and transformation over the past decade,” Rollier wrote in his LinkedIn post.
“Throughout my journey at Sephora – from CFO of the Americas, then CFO of Europe and the Middle East, and finally Global COO – I have learned invaluable lessons about leadership, transformation and customer obsession.”
In his role as Global COO, Rollier worked to build and strengthen Sephora’s global finance, strategy, supply chain, technology, legal and procurement capabilities.
Rollier added in his LinkedIn post: “What I will miss most is Sephora’s unique culture and the extraordinary people who bring it to life every day with passion.
“My deepest thanks go to everyone I have had the privilege to work with over the years, and especially to Chris de Lapuente [former Executive at LVMH and CEO of Sephora] and Guillaume Motte [President and CEO of Sephora] for their trust, support and leadership.
“As I close this chapter, I do so with immense gratitude, pride and excitement for what lies ahead.
“Stay tuned for the next chapter.”
Rollier’s departure follows George Tsoukalas being named GM for Sephora Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) in June.
Tsoukalas is directing a “new chapter” for the LVMH-owned beauty retailer’s operations in the region, with Australian beauty brands in particular seeing exponential growth in 2026.
