Silab unveils a refined way to shrink pores

Silab has launched a multi-action active ingredient designed to minimise the appearance of dilated pores. Its p-Refinyl is said to act in three ways.

Oligosaccharides from Lens esculenta reduce sebum secretion as well as stimulating keratinocyte maturation, which eliminates the nucleated cells that stiffen the pore’s walls. It also works by reinforcing the collagen structure of the dermis thereby limiting pore distortion and slackening. By tightening the pores, p-Refinyl smoothes the skin grain and limits shininess for a uniform complexion. It is said to work especially well when used alongside an astringent active.
