Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s men’s grooming brand, Papatui is betting on fine fragrance as it introduces three scents to its offering.
The luxury cologne collection has been two years in the making, and sets out to bring “Papatui’s signature approach to elevated, accessible grooming into fragrance”, according to the brand, founded by actor and WWE star Johnson.
Papatui partnered with Master Perfumers Frank Volekl and Jérôme Epinette – the noses behind scents from Le Labo, Byredo and Sol de Janeiro – to bring the luxury colognes to life.
The launch introduces P-01, a modern scent with bergamot, cardamom, crisp apple, and warm woods.
P-07 is an amber woody scent with notes of bergamot, blackcurrant, saffron, moss, vetiver, and amber to build a bold and earthy fragrance.
Finally, P-21 is a gourmand amber with warming notes of coconut, vanilla, smoky woods, patchouli and amber.
The fragrances retail at $40 each, with the brand setting out to deliver premium, elevated scents at an accessible price point.
The three colognes can also be purchased as a discovery set.
The launch follows the brand’s entry into deodorants last year with the introduction of whole-body formulas in three of the brand’s signature scents – Lush Coconut, Cedar Sport and Sandalwood Suede.
Johnson launched the brand in 2024 with a collection of hair, body and tattoo care products.
