Labsphere has created an improved version of its ultraviolet transmittance analyser, designed to exceed the Colipa UVA Protection Factor method’s requirements: the UV-2000S.


Labsphere has created an improved version of its ultraviolet transmittance analyser, designed to exceed the Colipa UVA Protection Factor method’s requirements: the UV-2000S.

An evolution of Labsphere’s UV-1000S, it retains the original’s speed and ease of use. The UV-2000S’s updates include a sample positioning stage that allows the user to repeatedly position slides for multi-point measurements before and after solar irradiation. The UV-2000S also boasts high-speed spectrometers with diode array detectors and a Spectralon integrating sphere with xenon flashlamp.
