Formula 1 (F1) and beauty is a partnership very few could have foreseen taking off this year.

The international team motorsport, which sees drivers race around tracks in various countries, began life in 1950 and today rakes in millions of viewers.

ABC’s live telecast of the Formula 1 US Grand Prix on 20 October 2024, attracted an average audience of 1.3 million, with a peak of 1.5 million viewers.

And following its love affair with the sporting industry and the Olympics in 2024, beauty has been increasingly turning to the high-octane racing event as its latest money wellspring.
