Alcan helps Thierry Mugler create lovely lips
Alcan Packaging Beauty has designed a metal twist pen for Thierry Mugler’s Magma Fusion Progressive Colour Lip Lacquer. The pen, decorated using a gloss metal effect and black silk screening, features a silicone spatula applicator designed to solve problems associated with brushes, such as fanning when the consumer replaces the cap. Other advantages are said to include flexibility, hygiene and better durability.

The company has also helped create packs for new natural brand UNE’s Sheer Lip gloss, Casual Volume Mascara and All in One Mascara. Made from single-material polypropylene for optimum recyclability, the packs ensure that the end products’ environmental impact is kept to a minimum.
