The new location is set to bring more than 200 beauty brands to Bristol’s Cabot Circus Shopping Centre this spring, marking a milestone expansion of the retailer’s experiential beauty retail format.
Setting out to become a major beauty destination for customers across the South West of England and Wales, the 11,000sqft space will showcase a mix of both heritage and emerging brands across skin, hair, fragrance, colour cosmetics, electronics and tools, as well as luxury beauty.
The store launch is a key component of Boots’ accelerated beauty transformation programme, reshaping how customers discover beauty across its stores.
It follows the debut of Boots’ first-ever beauty concept store, which opened in London’s Battersea Power Station shopping destination in 2023.
Plus, Boots’s opening its first-ever fragrance-only boutique, which debuted in London’s Broadgate Circle in autumn 2025.
“Boots is the unrivalled home of beauty in the UK, and this new store gives us the perfect stage to showcase the best of Boots in one of the country’s most vibrant and creative cities,” said Boots Beauty Director Paul Niezawitowski.
“We hear a lot from customers that they want immersive shopping experiences, expert guidance and inspiration, and with price points from 50p to £500, our next beauty-only concept store certainly delivers on that and more.
“We are delighted to bring to life this next exciting step in our beauty transformation.”

Shelley Taylor, Senior Asset Manager at property development and investment company Hammerson – the business behind Bristol’s Cabot Circus shopping destination – added: “We are proud to be partnering on the launch of Boots Beauty which has hand-picked Cabot Circus to kick off their national growth plans.
“Beauty and wellbeing is in high demand with our customers and this exciting new store format by Boots will offer never-seen-before products in the South West.
“With brands continuing to expand with us, it is clear that Cabot Circus is the first choice for the newest, most exciting and relevant line-up for customers.”
The new store will have a number of breakout spaces spotlighting trending products and topics.
This includes a “trending on social” edit, with a curated selection of viral products; a range of K-beauty brands on offer and a selection of premium beauty miniatures to “inspire trial and discovery”.
Boots is also tapping into consumers’ commitment to wellness with the introduction of a Wellness Zone, spotlighting inside-out beauty and wellbeing launches, such as supplements.
Additionally, the store is set to spotlight niche and independent fragrances in a dedicated space.
Shoppers will also be able to experience free beauty services in-store, including skin scans and personalised wellness advice, facilitated by the creation of 30 in-store specialist roles, including derm-trained pharmacists and specialists for both beauty and wellness.
Boots is not the only beauty retailer betting on the beauty community in Bristol.
Last month, Lookfantastic opened the doors to its second-ever UK store, which is also located in Cabot Circus.
Harrods’ H Beauty also has a store location in the city, found in Bristol’s Cribbs Causeway shopping centre.
Plus, Sephora UK – which is also leaning into concept store experiences – is set to open a location in Cabot Circus this spring, marking the retailer’s 14th site.
