American rapper Cardi B is set to enter beauty with the launch of her hair care brand, Grow Good Beauty.

Speaking on her Instagram story on 11 February, Cardi B revealed she has been working on the brand for the last three years.

“I am so excited because this is my baby,” she said in the post.

“It is something that is very highly requested and I have been working so long on it.

“I cannot wait to show you.”

She went on to share an official teaser reel of the brand to her Instagram, with the rapper quoted as saying “let us make these bitches hair grow good” as the product helps to build "natural, strong hair”.

In the teaser video, the Grammy Award-winning artist gave a sneak peek into what fans can expect from the brand, which has been built following her own hair growth journey.

She said in a voice over, “I am very passionate about this – I really love this shit.”

The video shares glimpses into the behind-the-scenes of bringing the brand to market, as well as a first look at some of the products in the range for eagle-eyed viewers.

While none of the products have been officially revealed yet, the line sets out to support hair growth.

She shared in the voice over that the brand is,“something that  been working for such a long long time”.

“When I was younger, I really really used to really hate my hair,” she said.

“Now I am older, I grew to love it, appreciate it, and it is really a part of me.”

According to the brand’s website, Grow Good Hair is set to launch in April 2026.

The move comes as celebrity hair care launches, particularly those from brands founded by women of colour, continue to grow in popularity

Cardi B’s brand announcement follows on from the launch of Beyoncé’s Cécred, which launched in 2024.

Singer Rihanna has also launched a range of hair care products that same year under the Fenty umbrella, spanning styling to deep treatments.
