Clariant to open second China plant
Speciality chemical supplier Clariant has announced that it is building a surfactants plant in Zhenjiang, China. Clariant says the facility, which is scheduled for production later this year, will help the company meet growing demand in the region.
Speciality chemical supplier Clariant has announced that it is building a surfactants plant in Zhenjiang, China. Clariant says the facility, which is scheduled for production later this year, will help the company meet growing demand in the region.
“In line with the company’s strategy to further develop our business in the rapidly growing markets of Asia, this investment demonstrates Clariant’s long-term commitment to China,” commented executive committee member Siegfried Fischer.
Clariant already has plant in Tianjin, China as well as manufacturing capabilities in Japan, Indonesia and Australia.
