Cosmetics Business celebrated in style at the Johnson & Johnson Awards 2018, an annual event recognising the best in beauty journalism.
The Cosmetics Business editorial team – Lucy Tandon Copp, Jo Allen, Julia Wray, Sarah Parsons, Becky Bargh and Austyn King – were named in the Top 3 for the Best Beauty Team 2018 award, alongside Get The Gloss and category winner Elle magazine.
Meanwhile, Editor Lucy Tandon Copp scooped the gong for Best Healthcare/Trade Beauty News Journalist 2018 for her interview with former Apprentice winner and founder of Stylfile and StylPro Tom Pellereau.
It was an especially proud moment to represent not just the efforts of our own team, but all beauty business journalists
Tandon Copp said: “The Johnson & Johnson Awards are always a highlight of the beauty journalism calendar – and this year will go down as particularly memorable for Cosmetics Business.
“The beauty business/trade journalism sector, while comparatively small, provides such a valuable resource for professionals, executives and other journalists working in the cosmetics industry.
“It was an especially proud moment to represent not just the efforts of our own team, but all beauty business journalists who do a spectacular job reporting on the issues that really matter to our industry from product creation to regulation, retail, trends and beyond.”

"We are also extremely grateful to both the core and specialist judges for their time and expertise throughout the process. We look forward to celebrating the next 12 months of achievements in 2019.”
