Coty acquires Dr Scheller Cosmetics from Kalina
Purchase makes Coty second largest player in the German colour market
Coty Inc announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Russian cosmetics company, Kalina, to buy its shares of the Dr Scheller Cosmetics business.
Coty will add the Dr Scheller brands, which include Manhattan and Manhattan Clearface, to its existing portfolio which already comprises Rimmel and Astor and Esprit Cosmetics. However Kalina has retained ownership of the Dr Scheller Das Naturkonzept line, which it has plans to expand.
