At the heart of this inspiration lies the West Lake and its Poetic Pavilion, a serene burst of nature within a dynamic and vibrant city, it stands as a timeless window to Hangzhou’s rich history and cultural legacy.
CPL Aromas reimagined this setting through a multi-sensory booth experience, inviting visitors to step into a world where tradition meets innovation. Fragrances were crafted around evocative notes such as Ink, Xuan paper, Chenpi and Wintersweet, all deeply rooted in Chinese culture and heritage.

The booth allowed visitors to explore a wide range of fragrance applications and technologies. In Fabric Care, CPL Aromas highlighted its signature AromaCore Bio technology—a sustainable fragrance encapsulation system offering readily biodegradable capsules, extended scent performance, and weeks-long fragrance bursts.
Also featured was AromaGuard, CPL Aromas’ targeted malodour counteractant technology. By precisely matching specific unwanted odours, AromaGuard reduces their perception while replacing them with a more desirable fragrance profile.

Several creations also incorporated CPL Aromas’ latest innovation, AromaHydroTM. This advanced formulation technology replaces traditional solvents with water wherever possible, enabling the development of cleaner, more skin-friendly, water-based fragrances with a long-lasting and improved performance.
Originally developed for fine fragrance, AromaHydroTM is now expanding into new applications such as Body and Hair mists and even Home Care applications.

Overall, PCHi 2026 was a valuable platform for CPL Aromas to showcase its latest innovations while celebrating Chinese artistry and local ingredients, bringing to life a concept deeply inspired by the region’s cultural legacy.
