Estée Lauder has landed British actress Daisy Edgar-Jones as Global Brand Ambassador to expand its reach.

The Normal People and Where the Crawdads Sing star will front the company’s skin care, make-up and fragrance products, with her first campaign debuting on 2 February.

“Daisy is very much the breakout star of her generation,” said Justin Boxford, Global Brand President, Estée Lauder.

“Not only is she an incredibly gifted actress, but she embodies the ethos of the Estée Lauder brand.

“She is aspirational, yet approachable, and her confident, youthful spirit and innate sense of style will inspire consumers across generations.”

The campaign will run across print, digital and in-store.

Edgar-Jones is a 27-year-old critically acclaimed actress across television and film.

Her breakout role was in the Emmy Award-nominated television series Normal People, which is based on author Sally Rooney’s bestselling novel.

She has also starred in films Twisters and On Swift Horses, as well as FX’s limited television series, Under the Banner of Heaven, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe.

“As an actress, I love how make-up can tell a story of who we are,” said Edgar-Jones.

“I have always admired how Estée Lauder celebrates confidence and individuality in women.

“The legacy, elegance and strength of the brand is so inspiring.

“It feels surreal to be part of the Estée Lauder family – and it truly feels like a family.”

Edgar-Jones joins Estée Lauder’s ambassador family, which includes actress Ana de Armas and models Bianca Brandolini, Carolyn Murphy, Imaan Hammam and Karlie Kloss.

Plus, singer-songwriter IU, model and author Paulina Porizkova, and actress and singer Yang Mi.
