Fluidipure 8G protects the cutaneous cocoon
Seppic\'s biomimetic purifying active agent claims to offer complete protection
New from Seppic is Fluidipure 8G, a biomimetic purifying active agent which claims to offer complete protection for the cutaneous cocoon. A glycine and sugar biovector, Fluidipure 8G aids in limiting the proliferation of micro-organisms on the skin and in formulations, as its anionic structure prevents the adhesion of microbial biofilms. It is available in liquid and transparent form, and can be incorporated into any cosmetic care or hygiene product. In hair care, it reduces dandruff, calms irritation and decreases the production of sebum in three to six shampoo washes, according to the results of an in vivo test on 40 volunteers presenting seborrhoeic dermatitis. Fluidipure 8G also reduces hair and body odour and helps skin to regain its physiological pH, ensuring its integrity. Seppic adds that the addition of 5% Fluidipure 8G in combination with sorbic acid protects formulations against microbial proliferation.
“Fluidipure 8G offers rare multi-purpose efficacy. Its liquid form and its affordable formulation cost make it an obvious advantage for our clients,” comments Carla Perez, Seppic’s Head of Functional Active Products.
