A former executive for LVMH and Puig, Ashley McDonnell, has launched VYKO Group, an Irish investment platform targeting beauty and fashion.
The company is positioning itself as Ireland’s first structured luxury brands group, with goals to consolidate and scale premium Irish labels internationally through a model inspired by Europe’s dominant conglomerates.

VYKO, which is based across Dublin, Ireland, and Paris, France, intends to raise €50m to finance its initial acquisitions by the end of 2026, targeting brands across fashion, beauty, spirits and premium consumer goods.
The company’s advisory network includes executives with experience across businesses such as Chanel and Dior, as well as institutions including investment bank Morgan Stanley and the Oxford Saïd Business School in the UK.
Although Ireland has produced internationally recognised designers, including Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director at Dior, McDonnell claimed it has lacked the “institutional framework required to build globally competitive luxury houses at scale”.
“It is important for a luxury group to structure the landscape in Ireland, bring synergies, strategy and learnings from the established groups so that we can scale the emerging talent we have on the island,” McDonnell told Cosmetics Business.
