Make-up artist Isamaya Ffrench has reportedly stepped away from namesake beauty brand Isamaya Beauty.
The brand founder allegedly departed the eponymous beauty brand in 2025, according to a new report by The Business of Beauty.
While Cosmetics Business is yet to receive official comment from both Ffrench and Isamaya Beauty, the MUA did reply to a comment on her Instagram account on 9 October regarding issues with orders from the brand.
Ffrench wrote: “@rosiemacdnd I am so so sorry to hear this – it is unacceptable.
“I am afraid I am not associated with the company anymore and have not been for some time.”
This was in response to Instagram user Rosie (@rosiemacdnd) who had commented under Ffrench’s post: “I love you but why is @isamayabeauty so bad at customer [service] my order was lost two weeks ago.
“I have had no reply or acknowledgement [of] what is going on.”
Known as one of Britain’s most popular make-up artists, Ffrench has served on numerous high-fashion editorial campaigns and worked with celebrities such as singer and Fenty Beauty founder Rihanna and model Kendall Jenner.
She launched her cosmetics brand in 2022 in partnership with the Italian beauty incubator Flash Beauty Holdings.
Now, fans of the brand are speculating that Isamaya Beauty could be facing closure as its Instagram page quietens and product prices are slashed through the brand’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) website.
Is Isamaya Beauty closing down?
Speculation around the future of Isamaya Beauty is circling online as fans of the brand ponder where it could go next.
The brand’s own Instagram page has been inactive over the past 12 weeks, with many comments under recent posts highlighting issues with orders and a lack of response from the brand’s customer service team.
“Please can someone get back to me regarding an order with the incorrect item,” wrote Sophie Daly (@sophiedaly_beauty) underneath a recent post.
“I have now sent three emails and two direct messages over the space of two weeks and haven’t had a response to anything.
“Customer service is appalling, as a make-up artist in the industry this is really disappointing and not the first time this has happened with the brand.”
Another user, Tessy P (@iscuj.da), wrote: “Warning: do NOT buy from them.
“My order arrived damaged, they will not return my money, and they completely ignore customers. Terrible experience.”
