Fragrance and flavour giant Mane Group has promoted Samantha Mane to CEO.
The Grasse, France-based company’s first female CEO, Samantha, is a member of the fifth generation of the founding Mane family.
She succeeds her father, Jean Mane, in the role.
Samantha joined the company in 2007 and was promoted to manager of Mane’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region – the group’s largest regional market – in 2016.
Mane employs more than 7,500 people in 39 countries and offers a palette of more than 350 house extracts and molecules across fine fragrance, consumer goods and oral care.
In a post on LinkedIn, the 150-year-old firm wrote: “Samantha aims to continue to build on the group’s strong roots, values and creative spirit, ensuring that Mane remains at the forefront of the perfumes and flavours industry.
“Her commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction and protecting the environment will pave the way to a bright future for the group.”
