Gucci Beauty has tapped Chinese actor Zhang Linghe as its new brand ambassador for fragrances.
The appointment is an expansion on the 27-year-old star’s existing partnership with Gucci, having served as an ambassador for the fashion house since 2024.
Linghe will now also front fragrance campaigns for the brand, holding a bottle of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum in his debut image.
The extension marks “an exciting new chapter in this partnership”, read a company statement.
“Fragance, for me, it represents my personality,” Linghe said in an Instagram post announcing his new ambassadorship.
“Gucci Beauty – I think it is empowering.
“At the same time, it shows me the way forward, surrounded by this constant flow of creativity.
“I hope you can find your own joy through Gucci Beauty.”
Linghe is best known for his roles in period drama Maiden Holmes and romantic melodrama series Sparkle Love.
Last year, he received a nomination for Lead Actor of the Year at the Weibo Awards for his performance in Story of Kunning Palace.
“Kown for his captivating performances in popular dramas, Zhang Linghe’s distinctive style and magnetic presence perfectly embody the essence of Gucci Beauty’s vision,” read a statement from the company.
“His collaboration with the house has already included appearances at fashion shows, events and campaigns, further strengthening his connection with the brand.”
Linghe joins NewJeans singer Hanni and Thai actress and model Davika Hoorne in Gucci Beauty’s brand ambassador family.
As well as singer Miley Cyrus, who fronted Gucci’s Flora Fantasy campaign.
