Scott Lingren has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ICONS Beauty Group succeeding Sue Nichols, the company’s founder, who is stepping up into the role of Vice Chair of ICONS Beauty Group Board of Directors.
With more than 25 years’ senior executive experience across the USA, Asia and Europe, Scott brings expertise in manufacturing, operations and global business leadership. As CEO, he will lead the ICONS’ portfolio companies, driving continued growth and reinforcing the group’s commitment to quality, service and sustainability. Scott will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina, home to ICONS Beauty Group portfolio company, ICONS America LLC headquarters and manufacturing facility.
“Scott brings wide manufacturing knowledge, proven managerial expertise, and a deep understanding of international markets to lead ICONS in today’s beauty and personal care products industry,” said Kyle Shaw, Chair of ICONS Beauty Group. “Scott’s leadership will drive ICONS’ manufacturing expertise in USA and Australia together with our long-time relationships sourcing across Asia to continue delivering innovative, high-quality, and cost-competitive products and solutions to our clients.”
As Vice Chair, Sue Nichols will continue to play an active strategic role within the organisation and will work closely with Scott.

Prior to joining ICONS, Scott was the senior executive for 9 years at Schunk Xycarb Technology Inc., a Schunk Group company in Austin, Texas, which is a leading global supplier of consumable products and related technology services for microelectronics and semiconductor production. He also gained more than 13 years’ global experience in executive positions with Freescale/NXP Semiconductors, Dell Technologies and Nokia. Originally from Wisconsin, Scott holds an MBA from Edgewood University and a BBA from University of Wisconsin’s School of Business.
