Five-year alliance follows successful US format

Interparfums Espana, the wholly owned subsidiary of the French Interparfums group, is to operate from July this year on the basis of a five-year renewable alliance with Clarins' Spanish company, Clarins Espagne.

Interparfums and Clarins will share an enlarged sales force, admin services and sites in Spain.

Philippe Benacin, president and director general of Interparfums, said the results of the company's alliance with Clarins in the US were "undeniable both in terms of quality of distribution and the level of sales". He added that both groups were delighted to extend this partnership on the Spanish fragrance market which would allow them to achieve a marked strengthening of their brands.
