ISO14001 certification for Indena Tours site

The certification recognises Indena\'s commitment to reducing its environmental impact


Indena has been granted ISO14001 certification for its French production site in Tours. The certification recognises that site has adequate environmental management systems for controlling its environmental impact and continuing to improve the environmental performance of its activities in a systematic, effective and sustainable way.

Under the direction of an environmental management committee, the company worked to optimise processes and rationalise resources, including safeguarding water supplies, reducing air pollution and waste, recycling and disposing of waste safely.

Indena’s main production site at Settala (Milan) received ISO14001 certification two year’s ago.

“We are proud of having received the ISO14001 certification because it validates our ongoing commitment to progressively reduce the environmental impact of our production activities,” said Indena Tours plant director François Mairel.
