Nuosept BMc 422 is a synergistic blend of BIT, MIT and low levels of CIT, said to be active against microbes, bacteria and fungi at use levels between 0.05-0.5%. Nuosept W Concentrate, meanwhile, is claimed to impart the antimicrobial effects of CIT/MIT and bronopol at higher concentrations than other commercial offerings, to provide formulators with cost reducing options. According to ISP, Nuosept W Concentrate will not contribute to the VOC of the product preserved and is formaldehyde donor-free.
