Fans of reality TV star Kim Kardashian will soon have the opportunity to find out how to recreate their idol’s beauty look at a make-up masterclass hosted by the reality star herself – at a price.
The event, Make Up Class, is due to be held in the Pasadena Civic Center in LA on 25 July, and will see make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic and Kardashian share their knowledge about creating her iconic look.
Make Up Class ticket prices are not for the faint-hearted. There are three ticket levels on offer, gold ($799.99/£502), silver ($499.99/£314) and bronze ($299.99/£188). Each level provides a Certificate of Completion, while gold and silver tickets include product giveaways of differing values.
As well as practical beauty tips, Dedivanovic and Kardashian will impart business insights about client and make-up artist relationships. According to the event page, Kardashian will discuss what celebrity clients look for in a make-up artist, including how personality and professionalism play an important part. Both Dedivanovic and Kardashian will also discuss how consumers can market themselves and build a social media presence.
Kardashian, who has 32.7 million followers on Twitter, aptly took to the social media site to announce news of the event; the tweet has since received 689 retweets and 2,944 favourites. On her Twitter page, she said: “When I was 14 my dad took me to a make-up class with a professional make up artist & I fell in love with glam ever since!”
No stranger to the selfie, Kardashian also hinted at an opportunity to take some snaps with those who attend the class: “Can't wait to see you there & take tons of selfies with you!”
The Make Up Class is just one way Kardashian is increasing her presence in the beauty arena. She has revealed she is in the middle of shooting a number of make-up tutorials due to be aired on her new website, which launches this summer. She tweeted: “I’m shooting a makeup tutorial today that will post on my new website when it launches this summer! Going to have tons of tutorials!”
