SKKY Partners’ minority investment will enable the plastic surgeon-founded skin care brand to grow in North America and Asia

111Skin, the skin care brand founded by plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr Yannis Alexandrides, has secured ‘significant’ minority investment from the private equity firm co-founded by Kim Kardashian.

The support of SKKY Partners, co-founded by The Kardashians’ star and Jay Sammons, will allow 111Skin to strengthen its direct-to-consumer business.

The London-based brand also hopes to expand its customer base in key markets, including North America and Asia, where it says it has seen substantial growth.

111Skin was founded in 2012 by Dr Alexandrides, leveraging his experience treating patients at his 111 Harley Street Clinic.

He and co-founder Eva Alexandrides will retain majority ownership and continue to lead the company alongside CEO Vanessa Goddevrind.

“We are excited to join forces with visionary partners that will help us write the future success story of our brand,” said Dr Yannis and Eva Alexandrides.

“The SKKY Partners team has tremendous experience working with distinctive, growth-oriented brands.”

“They are passionate champions of our core values and share our drive for excellence,” added Goddevrind.

David Brisske, SKKY Partners Managing Director, said: “Eva, Yannis, Vanessa and the 111Sskin team have created and nurtured a coveted brand with world-class products and a loyal customer base, which fits perfectly with SKKY’s strategy.

“111Sskin has a strong foundation and significant ongoing potential, and we are honoured to partner with the founders and leadership for the next phase of growth.”
