111Skin, the luxury clinical skin care brand, has received investment from Estée Lauder Companies as it continues to focus on science-driven innovation

Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has announced a minority investment in 111Skin.

The luxury clinical skin care brand, co-founded by husband-and-wife duo Dr Yannis Alexandrides and Eva Alexandrides, is the latest brand to receive investment from the American beauty conglomerate.

The terms of the investment have not been disclosed.

“Skin care is entering a new phase, shaped by the convergence of procedures, longevity and beauty, as consumers increasingly seek products that deliver visible, treatment-inspired results,” said Stéphane de La Faverie, President and CEO of ELC, in a statement.

The brand was born from Dr Yannis’ experience as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon as he set out to launch products to help accelerate his patients’ healing time following procedures.

De La Faverie continued: “111Skin exemplifies this shift, translating Dr Alexandrides’ more than 35 years of surgical and aesthetic treatment experience into high-performance luxury skin care inspired by in-clinic treatments, and built on clinical insight, next-generation actives, powerful formulas and proven efficacy.

“This investment, grounded in consumer-centricity and transformative innovation, reflects our ‘Beauty Reimagined’ vision and underscores the significant opportunity we see to support the brand’s continued growth.

“Expanding its global reach while preserving the distinctive approach that has made it so relevant with today’s consumers.”

The investment comes as ELC continues to focus on science-driven innovation in reflection of consumer desire for high-performance skin care.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Estée Lauder Companies and to unlock an exciting new chapter for 111Skin,” said Dr Yannis and Eva.

111Skin CEO Vanessa Goddevrind added: “We look forward to building on our momentum and driving future growth together.”

111Skin shared a ‘personal note’ from its founders to Instagram, in which it wrote: “As founders, this moment is incredibly personal.

“It represents not only how far we have come, but the opportunity to build on our strong foundations and shape the future of 111Skin together – with even greater ambition.

“While this marks the beginning of a new era, what will never change is our commitment to you.

“The same care, precision, and dedication that define our formulas and treatments remain at the heart of everything we do.

“You can continue to expect the innovative, sensorial skin care you know and trust.

“Our mission stays the same: to deliver surgically precise skin care with visible results – and to reveal your best skin through science and senses.”
