L’Occitane en Provence and Sephora UK team up on new immersive pop-up

The activation celebrates two of the brand’s cult body care products through a multi-sensory experience designed to ‘evoke the warmth of Provence’

L’Occitane en Provence has partnered with Sephora UK on an immersive outdoor pop-up in London’s Covent Garden, celebrating its cult-favourite Almond Shower Oil and Almond Supple Skin Oil.

Running from 2 to 4 May at The Piazza (Site A), the activation has been designed to “reflect the spirit of the Provencal countryside”, complete with golden lighting, sculptural structures, interactive scent plumes and a “sunset-inspired” lighting experience.

A L’Occitane en Provence spokesperson told Cosmetics Business the aim of the pop-up was to bring “the warmth of Provence to the heart of London,” immersing visitors in the sensorial experience behind the Almond Body Care collection.

“The pop-up is designed to transport guests in mind and spirit to a sun-drenched Provence,” the brand spokesperson added. 

“Plumes of scent will create a mesmerising display of swirling mist, immersing visitors in a fragrance experience reminiscent of Provence hillsides. 

“One of the most captivating things about the region is the light, and this concept has been explored through soft, golden lighting that breathes life into the structure.”
