Lubrizol develops new Cassia-derived polymers for hair care products
Chemicals company Lubrizol has released its new Sensomer CT polymers, derived from the Cassia plant, which are said to offer improved deposition and distinctive sensory and enhanced conditioning in hair cleansing formulations.
Designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of hair types, Lubrizol says these polymers are more efficient silicone deposition aids than traditional cationic conditioning polymers. This enables the use of lower levels of silicone and cationic polymer to deliver equivalent or better overall conditioning performance, according to the company.
