Baxter Laboratories have just completed their first ever skin care range specifically for Asian skin, utilising the unique natural resources found in Northern Australia. Recognising that Asian skin is different to that of Caucasians with a thicker dermal layer and a higher concentration of collagen, Baxter Laboratories have created a skin care range to match, to help protect from sunlight and ageing.

Utilising a bioactive complex of Australian super fruit, our Fresh Radiance Skin Care range was developed following extensive research into consumer needs by Baxter Laboratories in Hong Kong and China. Joyce Ho, from Baxter Laboratories (Hong Kong) said, “Customers across Asia have high expectations from the products they buy, and products which are made in Australia are highly regarded in Asia.”

The ingredients include Kakadu Plum Extract, a native Australian superfruit found exclusively in the Northern Territory and Arnhem Land and containing the world’s richest source of Vitamin C. This vitamin has been shown to help reduce wrinkles and to strengthen the skin’s response to irritants like sun and pollution. Indigenous Australians have traditionally used Kakadu Plum Extract for its healing properties in traditional medicine.

The range also contains a bioactive complex derived from tropical fruits grown in Far North Queensland, Australia. These fruits include papaya, pineapple and mango, which help to nourish the skin and protect it from free radicals – keeping it soft, supple and radiant.

Efficacy studies have been conducted to clinically prove that this product range improves the skin’s radiance and boosts its luminosity.

Given the unique properties of this skin care range and the very specific type of skin it has been created for, it is anticipated that interest will be extremely high when it is released later this year, particularly with established brands and own brand (private label) products.

Customers will be provided with fully tested, completed formulations which will reduce the need to source and evaluate all the individual components that come together to form a finished range of products.

Baxter Laboratories refers to this end-to-end/finished range concept as ODM 360°. All the work and testing has been performed, so that all the customers need to do is sell the products. The range is also fully compliant with Chinese regulations.

This new skincare range made from Australian superfruits, together with two new ranges, will be officially launched at Cosmoprof Asia, the leading business-to-business beauty trade show event in Asia. Baxter Laboratories will be in Hong Kong from the 12th-14th November of 2014 and invite all attendees to visit their stand in the Australian Pavilion Stand Hall 1E, Stand 1E-H2G.
