Acqua di Parma has unveiled its first standalone boutique in Miami, US, in time for its hundredth anniversary.

The Italian brand is normally available only through concessions within department stores, but it opened its 1,000sqft store in Brickell City Centre last December.

Consumers will be able to purchase the full range of Acqua di Parma cosmetics, home fragrances and candles.

A barbershop, designed to be reminiscent of a typical Italian barbiere, will also be available to customers in-store, as well as a the opportunity for hand massages.

Miami is home to many artists and entrepreneurs from around the globe whom the brand see as its target audience for the first store.

“We selected Miami as our first city due to its international recognition in art, design and culture which are values that define the essence of Acqua di Parma,” said Giovanni Lepori, Acqua di Parma President North America.

“With events such as Art Basel and Design Miami we knew this was a city we wanted to be a part of.”

The boutique is inspired by the style of an elegant Italian home. It has been outfitted with marble and dark wenge wood to emphasis the yellow-branded Acqua di Parma coloured walls.

At the centre of the store is the design hallmark of a large leather-covered pyramid displaying bottles of the brand’s Colonia fragrance.
