Chloe unveils actress Guan Xiatong as fragrance ambassador for China

The Shadow star will be the face of the luxury fragrance brand’s perfumes and travel retail within the region

Chloe has tapped actress Guan Xiatong as its fragrance ambassador for China.

The 25-year-old film star will be the Coty-owned fragrance brand’s first local ambassador for the region. 

The Left Ear and Shadow star will also promote the company’s Travel Retail division in China. 

“The Chinese actress and singer’s luminous spirit and natural radiance make her the perfect fit for Chloé Fragrances,” Coty posted on Instagram.

“And her 37 million Weibo [China’s microblogging site] followers share our excitement.”  

Xiatong posted about the collaboration on Weibo, describing the brand’s perfumes as “precious and timeless”.

Xiatong is a singer and actress with a huge social media following, 

She has 851,000 followers on Instagram and 20.82 billion reads on her Weibo page. 

Chloe is not the only beauty brand to appoint rising stars as ambassadors for Asia. 

Gong Yoo, the star of Korean Netflix drama Squid Game, is now Tom Ford Beauty’s ambassador for the Asia-Pacific region

Lancôme also tapped fellow Squid Game actor Hoyeon Jung to represent its luxury cosmetics house globally.
