Singer launches black to clear fragrance
Lady Gaga has announced the release of her first fragrance, Lady Gaga Fame, a black eau de parfum that sprays clear and becomes invisible once it is airborne. The fragrance uses patent-pending technology for the black to clear process and ‘push-pull technology’ for the fragrance itself, which is claimed to highlight the different olfactive aspects of each note at the same time without any hierarchy.
The scent is built around three main accords: dark, inspired by Belladonna (deadly nightshade); sensual, a fusion of dripping honey, saffron and apricot nectar; and light, with a floral accord of crushed tiger orchid and jasmine sambac.
The bottle was designed in collaboration with Nick Knight.
Lady Gaga Fame is the first fragrance released by Lady Gaga’s Paris based perfume label Haus Laboratories in association with Coty and will be released in September.
