New from Covestro is bio-based film former Baycusan® eco E 1000, which provides a natural alternative to synthetic film formers in hair styling formulations.

Fulfilling the definition of a derived natural ingredient, it ensures a hold comparable to synthetic styling polymers and out-performs most synthetic polymers when it comes to flexible and long lasting style.

It has very high humidity resistance and thermal stability, while offering good sensory properties and conditioning effects for formulations with no flaking or tackiness.
